This fun and engaging 1-day Workshop will get you moving to simple calls and to a range of modern music. You’ll progress along building your confidence and competence with our extraordinary caller / teacher Dave Williamson.
No need for a partner, previous dance experience or special clothing. Singles, couples, families and groups welcome. LGBT-friendly. If you can walk, you can square dance! There will be lots of experienced dancers available to help.
Bring comfortable indoor shoes, a mug, a bagged lunch and light clothing. Square dancing is a workout.
Register in advance with Upper Grand District School Board Continuing Ed or onsite Saturday morning at the Wellington Centre for Continuing Education gym. Only $40.
By end of day you’ll have mastered dozens of calls and be ready – if you wish – for weekly classes that start the following Tuesday evening. And you’ll be ready to step into olde tyme square dances in the area which are a hoot and a holler.
