Guelph Connection Expo
Friends of Friends is organizing Guelph’s first annual Connection Expo, a new community event taking place at the Guelph Farmers’ Market on September 20th, 2026
The purpose of the event is simple but powerful: We are living through a loneliness epidemic. Belonging isn’t nice-to-have, it’s foundational to mental health, physical health, and a functioning civic society. The Connection Expo is Guelph’s first dedicated annual infrastructure for bringing community organizations and residents face-to-face – so people can find their people, organizations can find their members, and Guelph can grow a stronger, more engaged, and more economically resilient civic fabric.
What The Event Looks Like
– Free admission for all attendees (to maximize accessibility and inclusion)
– Approximately 50 local organizations, clubs, and community groups hosting booths
– Expected attendance: approximately 500 Guelph residents and students
– A focus on belonging, social wellbeing, and community participation
