Event Details: Bridges to Belonging is a non-government funded charity that looks to our community as a
first resource. We exist to inspire and empower youth, adults and seniors living with a disability and/or mental illness and their families to – voice
their dreams and desires – envision and plan for the future – identify their gifts – build on their strengths – overcome barriers to social and economic inclusion – develop strong supportive networks – enjoy the rights and benefits of
citizenship – create a good life of their choosing in community, develop meaningful relationships and experience the joy of belonging.
Our independent facilitators walk with people and their families through various transitions and experiences to help them plan for, test experiences, and execute their dreams.
Our fundraiser, Boogie for Belonging is a party with a cause! Come out and bring your friends for a great night of dancing to live music by Lulu’s Band. Sing along, play games of chance, join in the auctions, compete in the dance off and win great prizes all while raising money for people with disabilities to find belonging in our community.
