Norma Owen Memorial Golf Tournament

The Guelph Police Association is extremely proud and excited to announce the 36th Annual Norma Owen Memorial Golf Tournament, which will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018, at the Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club. This tournament is in memory of Constable Norma Owen, who was a member of the Guelph Police Service and succumbed to cancer in 1983. We have had this golf tournament since 1983, and the proceeds from these events have been donated to various cancer related charities in our community.

We have been able to donate approximately $364,475 to date!

This year we are proud to be giving the 2018 proceeds back to Hospice Wellington, in an effort to assist them in continuing to provide a tranquil place for the terminally ill. The comfort of being surrounded by family and friends in a peaceful, caring environment makes such a huge difference. Hospice Wellington has been caring for the people of Guelph and Wellington County since 1980. Kindness and compassion is the cornerstone of what Hospice Wellington gives to our community every day.

Becoming a Sponsor of the Norma Owen Memorial Golf Tournament will allow your business to support Hospice Wellington, an organization which has a direct and positive impact on our community. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of more than 200 residents and their families every year. Your generosity allows Hospice Wellington to continue offering much needed family support services and community outreach programs.

Our tournament has been a fixture in the community and will continue to thrive with the
ongoing participation and support of many individuals and businesses such as yours.

If you are able to assist our tournament with a sponsorship or a prize donation, it would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged. We would like to make this year’s tournament the biggest and best yet!
