Silent Auction – Peru Project

Isaiah Projects aims to rebuild hope where it’s been damaged or lost – working with those in need, those who are underprivileged and those who are undeserved. The desire of this organization is to empower local leaders to become change makers – and with that call to action, a group of Guelphites called the “519 Adventurers” jumped in and realized that we had the ability to help make a difference.

Through a humanitarian project in Peru, myself (and a few other local individuals) are going to be travelling to Lima, Peru to assist with some good old-fashioned “sweat equity,” and help build some of what is needed, and supply hope where it may be hard to find.

However, we cannot do this alone. Guelph is such a close-knit community, and we all rely on each other to help businesses grow and find success. Having said that, we now need your help in raising funds for this project.

On Thursday, July 26th 2018 from 8-10pm, we will be hosting a silent auction at The Commons Café, downtown Guelph. There will be some live entertainment and the café will be open for beverages. With a small $2 donation, attendees will gain entry to the auction and entertainment for the evening, as well as be able to learn more about what we will be doing and bid on some fantastic items that have been donated.

Not only are we inviting you, a local business owner, to come and attend what we are sure will be a great evening; but also, asking for a donation for the auction itself.

With any product or service donated there will be the opportunity to advertise your business at the event, whether through business cards or your item display. However, if an item is not available or feasible for your business – monetary donations are welcome (and are tax deductible for donations $10 or more) and can be made at the event or online at https://iprojects.myetap.org/fundraiser/519adventurers/

We have reached out to local media outlets, and are hopeful for the participation and attendance of the media (whether radio or print,) and this event is already being shared amongst various social media outlets.

With the event quickly approaching, we do have a deadline of July 14th 2018 to have all donations collected. Please contact me to arrange pick-up.

We appreciate your time in reading this, and we look forward to seeing you at the event!
