Ratatouille – on Wilson Street

In an effort to keep parking available on Carden Street, this year’s Movies in the Square series, which offers a variety of family-friendly favourites, will show three movies on Wilson Street and one movie in Exhibition Park.

On Friday August 10, families, friends, and movie fans are invited to bring a lawn chair (and blankets if it’s cool out) and cozy up on Wilson Street for a drive-in experience minus the car.

Remy dreams of becoming a great chef, despite being a rat in a definitely rodent-phobic profession. He moves to Paris to follow his dream, and with the help of hapless garbage boy Linguini he puts his culinary skills to the test in the kitchen but he has to stay in hiding at the same time, with hilarious consequences. Remy eventually gets the chance to prove his culinary abilities to a great food critic but is the food good?

This movie is rated G.

Seating for Movies in the Square is on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of inclement weather, screenings will move inside to the City Hall Galleria, except for the August 24 movie in Exhibition Park, which would be cancelled.
