The Elliott Community – Guelph’s leading not-for-profit senior living community with four levels of care – is hosting its annual fundraising event on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Since 2005, the event has been known as The Great Escape, and for the past two years, it has been The Great Escape – Fall Fair. The exciting news for 2024 is that this longstanding event is getting a makeover (or a glow-up, in modern vernacular) as The Great Harvest!
The Great Harvest will combine the best aspects of the ‘Champagne Brunch’ events that preceded the pandemic (namely, the brunch and the bubbly!) and the best of the ‘Fall Fair’ events in recent years (with indoor-outdoor activities including some very cute farm animals). As always, the event will offer fabulous food, live musical entertainment and a silent auction.
Waterloo-based folk quartet Onion Honey will also be performing live at the event!
