his week long spoken word festival called CFSW is happening in Guelph, ON Sunday October 28th to Saturday November 3rd. The Canadian Festival of Spoken (CFSW), is a nomadic, annual festival that is celebrating its 15th year anniversary. It includes showcase performances, arts creation and professional development workshops and a nation poetry slam tournament. Over 100 poets, of acclaimed calibre will be descending on Guelph from across the country to poet, share stories, learn and connect with audiences through the art form of performance poetry. This year’s festival theme is Community. Host organization, Guelph Spoken Word has curated a festival program that caters to a diversity of interests in the local Guelph community as well as the national Spoken Word scene.
