GUELPH GIVES IS BACK!
for it’s
fourth year! It’s time to celebrate giving in Guelph and showcase the power of generosity.
As a quick refresher, Guelph Gives is part of larger Giving Tuesday movement; a day to kick-off the
giving season and celebrate all forms of giving as we work together to build a better community.
We want to kick-off the giving season by using this day to both celebrate this year in giving and to
encourage our community to continue to give back this holiday season. How are we going to do this?
Well, this is where you come in…we need your help.
YOU could:
Share a story of your company giving and the impact it made.
Find a creative way to gain donations from your customers and give them to a charity of your
choice.
Get a team together to volunteer for a great cause.
Partner with a great local not-for-profit organization and help them reach their Guelph Gives goal.
Hold a loonie drive, a clothing drive, a cookie sale, or any type of small fundraiser and then donate
to your favourite charity.
Create a social media campaign to build awareness over a community issue.
Whatever you do, do it under the banner of Guelph Gives. When we give back together, as a
community, we inspire others by showcasing the POWER OF GIVING. Let us know what you are

social media so that everyone can know how generous you are! It’s a win-win.
