Kinderconcerts — Why the Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky

PARK EATERY KINDERCONCERTS: Presented by River Run Centre

Park Eatery Kinderconcerts bring the symphony to life through interactive performances for children aged five and under. Members of Guelph Symphony Orchestra share stories and works by great composers, introducing children to timeless fairytales, classical music, and the experience of live performance. Kinderconcerts are enriching hands-on experience with audience participation highly encouraged!

This classic African folktale — Why the Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky — explores the origin of the world and its natural elements. The Sun has grown tired of having to cross a bridge to visit his friend, Water. But now, Moon’s wedding invitation changes everything! This delightful narrative is set to the music of Florence Price.
