Walk for Apraxia

Walk for Apraxia

This event is dedicated to children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Apraxia is a neurological motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to produce intelligible speech.

It is a day of celebration, joy and awareness for all the hard work these children put forth on a daily basis to help find their voices.

At the Walk for Apraxia, we come together not only to celebrate the achievements of our apraxia stars, but to raise funds to support the programs that help our Stars shine. The Walk for Apraxia supports educational opportunities, referral services, awareness, support for research, and much more. We are making our apraxia community tighter, stronger, and ready for the road ahead.
