The Guelph Humane Society will host a low-cost Microchip Clinic for cats and dogs on Saturday, Sept. 26, helping local pet owners add an important layer of protection for their pets.
The clinic is supported by Ren’s Pets, GHS’s Microchip Community Partner, helping to make microchipping more accessible and giving lost pets a better chance of returning home.
A collar and identification tag are important, but they can fall off, break or become difficult to read. A microchip provides a permanent form of identification that stays with an animal.
