Join Portage Ontario as it gears up for its 3rd annual Pedal for Portage cycling event, with a NEW spin. This year our event is going virtual, join us on your route, your time, your location. Challenge yourself with a walk, run or ride and help us continue to build community awareness and receive media attention on the issue of addiction amongst youth in our local communities.
We can still rally together as a community, ready to help young people caught up in the growing 21st century opioid crisis. Together, we will ensure kids in need can access Portage’s Residential Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Program IMMEDIATELY, free of charge, and reclaim their lives.
Please note the changes for this year:
– Only a $25 registration fee (we will provide you a tax receipt for this!)
– No fundraising minimums
– BUT if you raise a minimum of $75 and receive wicking t-shirt
– For every $25 raised, receive a ballot to win great prizes
– Choose your route, do it on your time, from any location
Everyone at Portage really appreciates your fundraising efforts! We know it take a lot of time and dedication, so to say thanks, for every $25 raised for youth struggling with substance dependencies, you’ll be entered to win some great prizes. Make sure to set-up your personal fundraising page. All fundraising participants qualify for the fundraising prizes, whether they are a part of a team or not.
We’ll live-stream our closing ceremonies, including highlights from virtual rides everywhere, top fundraisers and announce the winners from our fundraising contest on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7:00 pm. A zoom link will be sent out to all participants a day prior.
