College Royal Open House – March 21st & 22nd – University of Guelph
Visit the University of Guelph campus for the College Royal Open House Weekend! Check out events like Old MacDonalds New Farm, the Square Dancing Competition, the Dog Show, the various Club Displays, and much more. Open House Weekend is a chance to explore the university campus and see what the professors and students are up to. College Royal is a FREE event for the entire family!

The Guelph Grotto offers a variety of climbing experiences and lessons available for all skills levels. The Just Climb package is a great way to get into climbing, and is perfect for getting family and friends together – they handle the ropes, you do the climbing! If you’re new to climbing and looking for a way to try it out before jumping in head-first, the Just Climb package is perfect for you. They’ll pair you (and your friends, family, etc.) with a staff belayer, who will handle the ropes and offer you tips throughout an hour of climbing.

Kid Goat Day – March 14th – River’s Edge Goat Dairy
Go home with a goat. Leave with confidence. Build a foundation that actually works. If you’ve ever dreamed of raising goats but felt overwhelmed by conflicting advice, online noise, or the fear of getting it wrong — Goat Day is for you. This is not a petting zoo. This is not a lecture-only workshop. This is a hands-on, field-ready goat education day where you leave with your own healthy goat AND the knowledge, feed, and support to raise it well.
Magical Morphos – March 14th – 22nd – Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory
Visit Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory during March Break and experience thousands of Blue Morpho butterflies in flight inside the tropical greenhouse. Magical Morphos is one of the conservatory’s most popular March Break activities and is included with admission.
Maple Experience – March 14th – 22nd – Elliott Tree Farm
Each ticket includes free parking, entrance to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, all you can eat pancakes with pure maple syrup and a side of sausage and bacon with a hot apple cider, coffee, tea, juice, or water inside the warm Horse Barn Canteen, farm entrance and maple sugar trail access, learning about the history of maple syrup and maple syrup production, tasting raw sap, partially cooked sap, fresh maple sugar, and fresh maple taffy, sugarbush and sugar shack experience, checking sap buckets in the forest, campfire, and complimentary toboggans for the sugar shack trail.

Embark on a scenic winter heritage train ride with the whole family! Passengers of all ages will be captivated by the wide-open views of the countryside and nearby Mennonite farms as they travel on these vintage trains from the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market to the town of Elmira.
