The Life Centre needs YOU!

1951…

The average cost of a new house was $9,000 (of course, the average salary was only $3,500/year!)… that new car you wanted would set you back $1,500…
“I Love Lucy” premiered on CBS…

And… this Moffat professional range was manufactured!

This range has been in service since 1951, most recently being used by The Life Centre of Guelph to help prepare 100 hot meals every day, six days per week for the disadvantaged and marginalized in our community. After 57 years, this range has died and is beyond repair.

Today, Robyn and Lisa joined me on the Magic Drive to talk about the Life Centre and to ask you for YOUR help. Have a listen:

If you can help, contact Robyn at the Life Centre at 519-837-7777, or by email at: robynnferrier@gmail.com

Also a fund has been set up through the Guelph Community Foundation. You can donate there to the “Life Centre Fund to Feed the Community”.

We know we live in a very giving community, your generosity will help The Life Centre to feed the community.
